Attention for MB SD C4:

Hardware version: 2.02
(please do not do hardware updating yourself, it will cause the C4 crash, then the only way is to send back for repairing, and repairing fees is 20USD/time)

A: No matter what car you want to diagnose with this star c4, when you open the software, enter Xentry first. After you enter Xentry, setup the language you want. When you use Xentry to work on your car, you need to enter DAS to diagnose and program, then software will switch from Xentry to DAS automatically. What language you setup for the Xentry, you will get the same language in DAS. So Xentry has 21 kind languages, DAS has 21 kind languages too.
Q: After i find Fingerprint ID of MB SD C4, i click “Diagnostic”, it do not show me the Fingerprint ID, but the following error prompt: “Internal error (3.17)- 3.89 You must contact the user help Desk “, why?
A: Your computer is not compatible with this star software, change another computer to install the software. This is the lowest configuration for computer: CPU 2.0GHZ or above, 2GB memory or more, Windows XP professional. If your computer is D630, then needs integrated video card and 1GB memory or above.

I just received the MB SD C4 that I bought from you yesterday. I am German, and I want to read in German, so I try to set the language of DAS this morning but failed. There are 21 language options in the MB SD C4, but I am wondering how many languages are available when using its DAS?

After you set the language in Xentry, the language
MB SD C4 will be the same language for diagnosing, if you use Xentry every time you diagnose a car. The total 21 languages are available in this circumstances.
One thing you have to pay attention, if you do not diagnose or program in Xentry window, the system will automatically use DAS to do the work. The language in DAS will most likely be the language you set before.

However, if your DAS is installed on the desktop, only English is available then. In this situation, you should enter Xentry window for a different language.

MB SD Connect Compact C4 blank screen

seemed something wrong with it. After I powered up the tool, the screen illuminated, but there was nothing on the blank. What could be the problem? How to solve the problem? Thank you very much.

Dear Tim,
In most cases, there would not be blank screen for a new device. This could be caused due to improper transportation. Please disassemble the machine and check whether the screen was loose or desoldered. If the screen is not well soldered, you can either get your local mechanics to fix it, or you can send it back for repair.

We have checked every device before shipping, and there should be no product like this being delivered to you. It is likely that the tool was damaged during transportation. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
