After I powered up the tool, the screen illuminated, but there was nothing on

Dear Tim,
In most
cases, there would not be blank screen for a new device. This could be caused
due to improper transportation. Please disassemble the machine and check
whether the screen was loose or desoldered. If the screen is not well soldered,
you can either get your local mechanics to fix it, or you can send it back for
repair.
We have
checked every device before shipping, and there should be no product like this
being delivered to you. It is likely that the tool was damaged during
transportation. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
