My DigiMaster 3 gives me an error message reading “Connecting
server (sale.autoemaster.com)/ Network error: 0X2742” when I start the machine.
What could be the problem?
A: It
means the device has not been connected to the factory server. The problem
could be your network or your internet connection. Please make sure your
network or your cable is well connected.
Q: How to know which adapter and port I should use to
connect the mileage
correction tool? What method I could use to adjust
mileage?
A: 1)
Please carefully read the manual book of Digimaster3. digimaster3 will
let you know which port, which adapter and what method you should use for a
specific car model.
2) You can look digimaster3 information up in your manual book. If you have lost it, here is
a link for your reference: It shows car models (mostly are vehicles
built after 2008) that this mileage correction tool supports. Inside the pdf
document, we also list the corresponding adapter, location storage and way to
use the device for different car models.
Q: Can I
use digimaster3 to adjust mileage for my car via OBD diagnostic socket?
A: For different vehicles, the mileage correction
method will be different. For example, digimaster3
usually does not use OBD2 port when adjusting mileage for Renault cars; instead it requires to de-solder the chip and to connect it to main unit by OBP adapter. But it can change mileage via OBD2 port when working with most VW cars and some BMW and Mercedes Benz
